The 2017 Jaguar XE is an all-new compact luxury sports sedan that competes with the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4. It has a lightweight, aluminum body structure, and it achieves 50/50 weight distribution. Rear- and all-wheel drive options are available. The optional all-wheel drive system utilizes Intelligent Driveline Dynamics, which is a software that reactively distributes torque to the front or rear wheels to maximize traction. Four trims are available: the base model, Premium, Prestige, and R-Sport.
